How do I Manage Out of Stock (OOS) on the app?

The Menu Out Of Stock (OOS) feature lets users update menu availability, marking items as out of stock to prevent unavailable items being ordered and maintain accurate inventory. Users with the roles of Business Owner, Brand Manager, and Branch Manager can manage out-of-stock menus.

How to Set an Item as Out of Stock or Back in Stock on the app
Marking Menu Items as Out Of Stock (OOS)
      Note: Items will remain OOS by default until manually re-enabled.

      Note: If a category or item is disabled, it will appear as out of stock for consumers until it's manually re-enabled or until the timer expires.


What if I forget to turn an Item, Menu, or Modifier back on? How do I fix a disabled modifier or menu item?

If you made the OOS request on the klikit app - generally it will be back in stock either next day, or whenever it was set (i.e. Next Day, Next Week). For OOS done on klikit webapp, you will need to toggle it back on.

We know that running a business is stressful and anyone can forget things.  As a result, we have tools and systems to help you check out when things are OOS.  We recommend you to always check the following:
  1. Live Report Hub
    This gives you real-time visibility into your brands and branches performance, letting you see what items are OOS, and where.

  2. Analytics
    This gives you a 'hit-list' of the longest OOS items and the branches they're mapped to.
How does it work?
  1. As mentioned, NMA (i.e. Store App) requests will toggle back automatically without assistance.
  2. For those made on Web, you will need to manually re-enable them.

If the disabled category, item, or modifier still appears as available to consumers after 1-2 minutes, try to do the following:

  1. Publish the menu by clicking "Publish" next to the search bar. (This option is available only to Brand Manager access and higher)

  2.  Clear your browser cache and refresh the page.
