How Do I Set-Up My Device & Printer?

A Customers who have purchased products from your shop definitely need a docket receipt that can be used as proof to validate their transaction. So that operational activities in the shop can run more optimally, klikit has two features in the printer settings, for Docket and Sticker, here are the steps you can follow to be able to connect your device to the printer: 

Checklist
Before we're going into the setup, here's the list that you can prepare:
  1. Printer (RPPN02N)
  2. Paper roll (58/80mm)
  3. If you are using a USB printer:
    1. 2 cables:
      1. One cable to connect power socket and the printer’s power block
      2. One cable to connect  the printer to the tablet/USB C hub
        1. Converter (USB Type 3.0 to USB Type C)

Paper roll set-up

    1. Insert the new paper roll into the slot. Follow the photo above!
    2. Pull out some paper.
    3. Close the printer cover and turn the printer on.


Docket set-up
  1. Steps to Connect your Bluetooth Printer to Device
    1. Under the locations tab (on klikit Cloud) of your klikit app, select the Bluetooth printer type and the size of the printer roll (58mm or 80mm) that you are going to use
    2. Turn on the klikit Device’s Bluetooth.
      1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings of the klikit device.
      2. Turn on Bluetooth.
    3. Switch on your Bluetooth Printer.
    4. Pair the Bluetooth Printer with the klikit Device’s Bluetooth network.
      1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings of the klikit device.
      2. When klikit Device detects the Bluetooth Printer, tap on the Printer and Pair it with klikit device.
      3. To pair, provide the 4-digit pin code (1234 or 0000) to successfully pair the klikit device with the Docket printer.
        1. Note : the Pin number is Docket Printer specific. So go through the printer documentation to verify the 4-digit pin code of the Printer.
        2. To unpair the Printer, similar steps can be taken

  2. Steps to Connect your Bluetooth Printer to klikit
    1. Open your klikit for Business app from Google Play Store
    2. Grant Location Permission to klikit for Business. 
    3. You will receive a pop up. Connect your Bluetooth printer.
    4. Choose the printer that set-up before
    5. Connect your printer until the status shows "Connect" and turning into Green
    6. If you dont receive the pop-up, can connect printer by following these steps:
      1. Go to "Account"
      2. Tap on "Printer Setting"
      3. On the right corner bottom, tap "Show Devices"
      4. Connect your printer until the status shows "Connect" and turning into Green

Take note that the maximum radius distance of your device from the Bluetooth printer is 15 to 20 feet. 
















Sticker set-up
  1. Steps to Connect your Bluetooth Printer to Device
    1. What are the requirements for the sticker printer? 
      Here the following requirement on the sticker printing:
      1. Printer must be connected using bluetooth.
      2. Sticker size must be 50mm x 40mm 
    2. Switch on your Bluetooth Printer.
    3. Pair the Bluetooth Printer with the klikit Device’s Bluetooth network.
      1. Go to the Bluetooth Settings of the klikit device.
      2. When klikit Device detects the Bluetooth Printer, tap on the Printer and Pair it with klikit device.
      3. To pair, provide the 4-digit pin code (1234 or 0000) to successfully pair the klikit device with the Docket printer.
        1. Note : the Pin number is Docket Printer specific. So go through the printer documentation to verify the 4-digit pin code of the Printer.
        2. To unpair the Printer, similar steps can be taken  

  2. How do I connect my sticker printer?
    1. Basically it's same using the Docket printer, you need to connect the Bluetooth Printer to Device & klikit
    2. The different is, when choosing on the pop-up or from "Printer Setting" 
    3. Choose "Sticker" as following pictures


  3. Can I use both a docket printer and sticker printer at the same time? 
    No, you cannot use both printers at the same time.

  4. What information is on the sticker printing?
    1. Order Details
      1. Order ID
      2. Order Type (Dine-in, Take-out, Delivery)
    2. Item Details
      1. Item name
      2. Modifiers / Add-ons
    3. Date
    4. Item # per Total items in Basket (i.e. 1/3,  2/3…)
