What are Item Modifiers?

Modifiers are attached to an item, either to specify a detail about the item or as an optional add-on to that item.

For example, on your Fried Chicken Burger, you can provide the customer with the option of the item being 'mild' or 'spicy' or 'extra spicy'. Or you could add 'extra cheese' for a nominated price!

Modifiers are great way to offer customisations to customers, allowing them to personalise their purchase, it can also be a great way to increase revenue on an order.

Here are a few ideas to for modifiers:
  1. Add a drink
  2. Add a dessert
  3. Add an extra burger patty/extra cheese/bacon
  4. Size (medium, large, extra large)
