Item Pricing

What if I want different prices for Pick-up, Delivery, or Dine-In methods?

Different delivery methods for food usually come at different costs. With klikit, you are able to price your menu differently for Pick-up, delivery, or dine-in methods for klikit Webshop, Add-order, and even GrabFood. Having varied pricing can help you keep your profit margins consistent, as well as, include any additional costs for the specific method.

Currently, this feature only covers klikit or GrabFood menus. In order to have varied pricing for these methods, follow these steps:
  1. Navigate to your menu management module on cloud.klikit.io
  2. Select your brand
  3. Select the item you want to change the price of
  4. Under the "General" Section
  5. Update the price
    1. For klikit pricing
      1. Click on "Show Advance klikit Pricing"
      2. Input your prices there
    2. For GrabFood
      1. Click on "Show Aggregator Pricing"
      2. Click on "Show Advance GrabFood Pricing"
      3. Input your prices there

You can refer to this GIF to see how that looks like on the platform.

When pricing Items with various sizes, multiple pieces, or bundles, it is not as straightforward compared to items with a single variation. For example, a single rice meal just has one price compared to items such as a bucket of chicken with 4 piece, 8 piece, and 12 piece variations which will have an item price and modifier prices.

Let’s take a look at this example.

Mark’s Chicken Buckets has three variations, 4 pieces, 8 pieces, and 12 pieces. See its prices below:

4 pieces

410

8 pieces

610

12 pieces

810

For these prices, we suggest having the variation with the lowest price to be the item price.

With the item price being 410.00, the 4 pieces modifier will be priced 0 to have our total at 410.00 still. The difference between the lowest variation and the other variations will be the price of the those other variations (8 pieces and 12 pieces)

Here's a comparison the prices of the sample menu items with the pricing on klikit :
