What if my item is not available on GrabFood, foodpanda, or other food-delivery consumer apps? What if my menu not available?
Items that appear out of stock on GrabFood but are in stock in klikit are affected by Grab’s safety net, which includes specific rules and item modifiers.
For example, if a menu item requires the selection of one specific modifier, and that modifier or all options in that group are out of stock, the menu item will also show as out of stock. This is because the required modifier cannot be selected to meet the selection rule.
To change your Menus, simply navigate to the 'Menu' tab inside your klikit webapp (klikit Cloud) to get started.
Still confused? Let’s follow the example down below:
- The branch menu has an item with a rule that requires the selection of “Exactly 1” modifier – meaning the customer has to select one modifier for them to order the item. This view can only be seen on klikit Cloud.

- However, their modifiers are out of stock as seen below which the consumer won't be able to select any modifiers at all.
- Modifier group disabled
- on klikit Cloud

- on klkit for Business app

- All modifiers disabled
- on klikit Cloud

- on klkit for Business app

This situation makes the item which has this modifier group appear out of stock on Grabfood even if the item is in stock on klikit.
How to solve this issue
- Enable modifiers that are in stock. This also can be done thru klikit for Business app
Changes the required modifier group into Optional (Only on klikit Cloud)
- Detach a modifier that is out of stock from an item (Only on klikit Cloud)
Steps: - On the modifier groups tab, select the modifier group. selecting the “x” button beside the modifier

- Go to the item/s where the modifier is attached to. Scroll down to the Modifier Group section and click "x" next to the modifier which should be removed

- After detaching the modifiers group/items, you can "SAVE" and "PUBLISH", so the changes will reflect on the aggregator tab within 10 mins
Grab’s Content Moderation in “Out of Stock” Status
Sometimes, even when klikit shows your items are in stock, they appear as Out of Stock (OOS) on GrabFood because of Grab’s content moderation system. How content moderation can affect availability:
Grab uses a two-tier moderation system:
- Tier 1 involves rigid, automated filtering (keyword filters, image checks) to immediately flag content that might violate policy.
- Tier 2 uses large language models (LLMs) to make more subtle, context-aware assessments, with human review for ambiguous or risky items.
If a menu item has content (e.g. description, image, or modifier text) that the content moderation system deems possibly non-compliant (for example containing restricted words, unclear claims, or ambiguous imagery), the item may be hidden or disabled temporarily while moderation is underway.
During moderation, even though stock and modifiers are available, the item could show as OOS in GrabFood because Grab’s policy and safety “net” is preventing it from appearing to customers until the content is verified or modified to comply.
How to Solve this:
- Remove or change wording that may be flagged by automated filters.
- Review your item descriptions, images, and modifiers to ensure they clearly meet Grab’s content policies.
- Monitor whether any items are being held or suppressed due to moderation (you may get notices or flags from Grab).
