On the updated klikit Menu Management tool, you'll have the option to edit menus using two types of menus.

Business Menus

With the Business Menu, you have the power to create and manage menus for all your brands. This menu allows you to create menus, categories, items, and modifiers, and easily connect them together. Once you're finished making changes, you can effortlessly publish and synchronize menu updates across all your brands and branches using the Business Menu.

Store Menus

The Store Menu contains the menus that will be sent to aggregator consumer apps. Each Store Menu is unique to a brand and branch on klikit Cloud. After making any necessary changes to your Store Menu, you can publish the updates to ensure your aggregator consumer apps are up to date with the latest menu changes.

Using the Menu Management Tool

Our menu structure follows a hierarchy. Menus > Categories > Items/Modifiers and Modifier Groups.

  1. Menu Overview

In the Menu Overview section, you can conveniently access all the menus for both your Business and Store Menus.

This section allows you to seamlessly update and synchronize changes from the Business Menu to the Store Menu. You also have the ability to manage the availability hours for all your menus, and effortlessly add or remove Categories using the Category drop-down tool.

  2. Categories
In the Category section, you have the ability to create and manage categories for your entire business, mark categories as out-of-stock, and control the visibility of your categories. By using the dropdown lists located on the right side, you can easily attach multiple items and menus to each category, making it simple to organize and update your menus.

  3. Item/Modifiers
In the Items section, you can create and manage menu items, mark items as out-of-stock, create and manage modifiers, and control visibility for all your items. Here's what you can edit on your items:
    1. Item Name
    2. Item Description - Let your customers know what the item is!
    3. Item Pricing
      1. Varied Pricing on klikit features vs Aggregators
    4. Item Images - You can have different photos in different aggregators!
    5. Modifier Toggle - Toggle if the item is a modifier.
    6. Category - Which category does your item belong to?

  4. Modifier Groups

In the Modifier Groups section, you can add items marked as modifiers to modifier groups and control the rules set for these modifier groups. Rules include:

  1. "Your Customers Must Select" Exact - Customers must select the number of items.

  2. "Optional for your customer to select" Range - Customers can select the number of modifiers based on the range you provide

    1. If you want the modifier group to be optional, make sure to select 0 as the minimum number of modifier

  3. Modifier group templates are sets of modifier groups. These templates are useful if you have the same modifier groups tied across your items.

How do I attach an item to categories and menus?

To attach an item to categories and menus, simply click on "Add to Category" on the item screen. This will open a dropdown list of categories for you to choose from. Once you have made your selection, click save. Now, the item will be attached to all the selected categories.
