In our Store App we provide a system of managing Inventory in a simple way. To do this, simply navigate to Menu inside the Store App/Web on a Branch Manager account.
Once you go to your Items, simply tap the small grey 'box' icon to bring up the Simple Inventory.
Here, simply toggle on 'Enable Stock' and then subsequently add the corresponding number of items you currently have.
How does it work and affect auto OOS?
Any Order received that contains that item will auto-deduct the quantity automatically from the count.
As a result, this feature is useful for 'Auto-OOS' because it will shut down the item when the quantity held reduces zero.
Once Auto Out-of-Stock is enabled any order that contains that item will reduce the stock count. If an order is cancelled, the stock count will be replenished.
Indicator Colours
- When the stock is between 31% - 100%, the indicator next to the item will show as Green
- When the stock is between 11% - 30%, the indicator next to the item will show as Yellow
- When the stock is between 1% - 10%, the indicator next to the item will show as Red
- When the stock hits 0, the item will be marked out of stock
Updating Stock
To update the stock count, navigate to the item in the menu manager (either on cloud or mobile) and tap the stock icon.
You can then set the stock level to a new amount by changing the count and tapping update:
Do I have to set up Inventory? What if I forgot to use it?
There is no impact to your system if you do not set up Inventory. However, you will need to manually manage your OOS.
